After six months of dating,
Big Sean and TV actress,
Naya Rivera (Glee) got engaged last year October. I guess things changed after that, as
Big Sean announced on Wednesday that he had called off their wedding. And close sources to
Sean say it was due to
Naya's insecurities and controlling ways. She always wanted to know where he was, and who he was with. I guess the chick didn't know much about the lifestyle of a young rapper in Hip Hop. It is almost impossible for rappers to completely alienate themselves from female fans and groupies, which can sometimes lead to sexual experimentation by the rappers. This is almost always the case if the rapper is a young one...this was the same problem
Biggie and
Faith Evans were having back in the day. People don't even know that
Faith and
Biggie were already separated just before his death. Ironically,
Big Sean has a picture of Biggie on his shirt in this pic below.
To me, calling off the engagement equals to break up. They might not have said that directly, but it is what it is. They were a cute couple, but when two celebrities on the way up are in a relationship, if either one of them don't take time to let the other live the life the way he/she were living before they hooked up, there is bound to be problem...or early marriage. I guess the reason
Big Sean proposed marriage to her in the first place was so he could give up his old ways as a player, and become a family man. But he probably changed his mind along the line.
