Rap Albums On Billboard Chart

There is a general boost in sales on the chart this week; i guess it's because of the Thanksgiving holiday of last week. Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City" sold 10k copies more than it did last week; the album sold an impressive 49,000 copies this week, and now totals at 428,000 copies sold. Gold is piece of cake for it right now, Platinum status is the destination.




Nicki Minaj sold 36,000 copies of her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded- The Re-Up album in its first week out. Her main purpose of repackaging the album with 8 new tracks was probably cos the new sales would be added to the original album, and probably get it to Platinum status. Right now, the album is now at a total of 727,000 copies sold.




2 Chainz sold 22, 000 copies of his Based On A T.R.U Story album this week, and now stands at a grand total of 405,000. Meek Mill's Dreams & Nightmares album sold 18,000 copies, and is now at a total of 245,000. Cee Lo Green's Cee Lo's Magic Moment album sold 11,000 copies this week, and is now at 26,000.




Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are now at 143,000 sold with their The Heist album, after selling 8,900 copies this week. Nas's Life Is Good album sold 6,400 copies this week, and is now at 333,000 total.
