Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes 10 Years After

This was meant to have been posted yesterday, but i was a bit down and couldn't come up here. But i can't let something like this go. 10 years ago, yesterday, my favourite TLC (T-BOZ, LEFT EYE, CHILLI) member, Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes passed away from a cash accident in Honduras. On April 25, 2002 in La Ceiba, Honduras, while driving a Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Lisa Lopes allegedly tried to swerve around a truck, but there was another vehicle heading towards them in the opposite direction. To avoid a head-on collision, she swerved all the way off the road. The vehicle rolled several times after hitting two trees, throwing left-eye and 3 others out the window. I think i should stop here...i am already getting emotional all over again.

Below is news from her 10 Year Death Anniversary held
yesterday-

"The word anniversary means a celebration," Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins said in a statement as she remembered her former TLC bandmate Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, 10 years after her tragic death. "For us her death will never be a celebration -- it's still something that hurts," she added. Lopes was killed on April 25, 2002, in a car accident in Honduras. She was just 30 years old.

As Watkins and other surviving TLC member Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas remember the late rapper, they revealed the plan to forge ahead with the group as a twosome. "Yes, we're going on tour," T-Boz told Essence. "We are in negotiations now with L.A. Reid, so we'll see what happens. A lot of cool things are coming up."

Chilli added that in addition to a reunion tour, the duo will record new music and drop their first album since 2002's 3D. "Another TLC album? Yes, that's for sure! We'll have new music right after the movie drops," she revealed.

The movie the singer's referring to is a biopic about the group, which the ladies are currently working on with VH1 and is expected to be released by the end of the year. "It's going to have to be new kids; I can't think of anybody that can play us," T-Boz explained. "It's not just about looking like me or dressing like me, you have to have the attitude, the dance moves. The writer of the biopic, Kate Lanier, is amazing."

God bless her soul. She was the energetic one in the group (TLC)...the most outspoken...the rapper...my favourite member. Like Quan said- "can we have another moment of silence..."
