As I have been doing with rap albums over the years, I want to attempt to predict what Nas' new album, "King's Disease 2" would sell in it's first week out.
His last album, King's Disease dropped August last year, and it sold 47,000 copies first week. King's Disease 2 will definitely sell more, because it is receiving more positive reviews than the first one. Apart from that, it has a guest appearance from Eminem on the song, EPMD 2 (which also featured the rap legends, EPMD). Eminem instructed his fans, both on Twitter on Instagram to stream the album a few days ago. This will definitely add to the success of the album.
Also, Death Row East (a song about Nas' past feud with Tupac), and Nobody (featuring Lauryn Hill) will have loyal Pac and Lauryn Hill fans streaming those songs all week, which is already showing from song chats...the top chatting songs from the album are EPMD 2, Death Row East, and Nobody. This will add to the overall success of the album.
I predict that Nas' "King's Disease 2" would sell 70-90k copies first week...plus or minus. What do you guys think? You think it would sell more than that or less?
