New Jersey rapper, Joe Budden is about to drop a new album (Rage & the Machine), and I want to attempt to predict what it would sell in its first week out. Actually, the album is dropping tomorrow, October 21, 2016.
Apart from being a Slaughterhouse member, which makes him release albums as a group via Shady Records/Interscope Records, Budden has been an independent rapper most of his career. You know Independent rappers make more money off each album sale, but they normally don't sell as much as rappers on major labels cos they don't have that big mean machine behind them marketing and distributing their albums aggressively. With all that said, I would say Joe Budden would sell between 12-15k copies of his Rage & the Machine album in its first week out.
