Angie Martinez has always been synonymous with Hot 97 Radio, and vice versa. She tried rapping at some point in the early 2000s, but she will always be remembered for her memorable interviews as a radio personality with Hot 97 radio. Today, after working at the station for 15 years, she resigned. Below is what she said about this on her Instagram page.
"Today I resigned from HOT97. I am grateful to the Emmis family for my time with the company and the immeasurable way that it has shaped my life. We made history together in so many ways and I will cherish those memories and my friendships forever. This was one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make but ultimately it is time to move on, to grow and to be challenged in new ways."
Routine can get very boring, and make someone uncreative, so I kinda understand why she is living. I wish her all the best in what she wants to do next. Her name is already a brand, so she would definitely be okay wherever she goes. Check out some of her pictures with rappers over the years.
