Ab-Soul released his new album, These Days...on Tuesday, and based on first day sales, experts have projected it would sell between 19-21k copies first week. Now that I realize this was released only digitally, the numbers don't look so bad. You have to know that unlike Kendrick (who is signed to TDE, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records), and ScHoolboy Q (who is signed to TDE, and Interscope Records), Ab-Soul is signed only to TDE. This means Soulo is technically independent with TDE. That means no big major label promo. And the fact that he released the album only digitally, and not in stores with physical copies, it also reduces it's potentiality to sell.
