Lil Mama Says Nicki Minaj Only Cares About Herself

It is obvious that Nicki Minaj is the hottest and most successful female rapper in the game right now. She has enjoyed a tremendous level of success ever since she hit mainstream in 2009. In a recent interview, another female rapper, Lil Mama said that Nicki Minaj always says she is doing it for the females, but that she only cares about herself.

Well, Hip Hop has always been competitive, so I don't think Nicki is to be blamed for doing her own thing, and focusing on her career alone. Lil Kim and Foxy Brown used to be friends before the competitive nature of Hip Hop turned them against each other. The hip hop scene is pretty tough for  female rappers, so for Nicki to even be on the level she is right now is a big deal. I guess that keeps her on her toes, and don't give any allowance for her to think of helping out any other female rappers. But I might be wrong with my analogy. Maybe if she united with the other female rappers out there (like Lil Kim did with her ladies night song back in 1996), female rappers in the game would have a stronger presence in Hip Hop.
