"[Pusha T] be spitting too," Sean said in an interview. "Pusha, you know, where was he at? He set off 'Don't Like,' he was on 'Mercy.' He's a real competitive dude just like we all are, man, so I feel I should of, everybody, if you don't feel you should have been number one, then I don't know what the f*ck you're doing this for. I feel I'm the best emcee, I'ma prove myself. I've got a lot to prove. And that's what makes it fun. I always say, like, who are at the top of game, 2 Chainz, he's been doing it for a long a** time. Lil Wayne, it took Wayne [some time]. The Carter wasn't his first album. 500 Degreez was his first album and it took all these different levels of successes and different plateaus." (Semtex TV)I really like how Big Sean spoke on the journey to success, and how he pointed out that Tha Carter wasn't Lil Wayne's first album, but I have to correct him...500 Degreez was released in 2002, and definitely isn't Wayne's first album. Lil Wayne had The Block Is Hot (1999) and Lights Out (2000) before that. Anyway, I get his drift.
