The Young Jeezy and Rick Ross beef, i thought was dead and burried, has surfaced again...just when Jeezy's album is about to drop. Read more on it below-
Aside from those few lines on "Death B4 Dishonor," Jeezy said the issue spiraled thanks to a Web clip, which Ross perceived to be an additional jab at him. "I feel like the whole started thing from a clip on WorldStarHipHop, and my thing was, if I'm a boss and you a boss, let's sit down and be bosses," he said. "You take a clip that somebody edited and run with that? What part of the game is that? If you felt like that, hit me up, let's chop it up, we bosses." Finally, Jeezy said he didn't take things seriously after bumping into Ross at the BET Hip Hop Awards, where the Miami rapper declined to exchange any words with him. "I felt like it was about selling records," Jeezy said. "It' not about you about me. We could've stepped in the corner and chopped it up. So right then and there, I knew it was about records, so I was cool with it." (MTV)
Okay, first of all, Jeezy is the one making this issue bigger than it should be...and he was the one that started the whole thing with those lines off that death before dishonor song. He was definitetly, and still is jealous of Ross's sucess. He was mad that Rick Ross made the song BMF, when he is not affiliated to the Black Mafia Family the way he(jeezy) is...what's the big deal in that. And him saying that ross took things out of context is just not being real. He was as direct with his disses towards ross as anyone with a problem with someone can be. And he made that video commenting on Rick Ross's street cred. He should be the one to act like a boss, and go to ross if he has a problem.
I am not hating on jeezy or taking Ross's side on this one, but i am just saying it as it is. All this people keep feeding on the negative, and taking stabs at rick ross because of his success, and he pays them little attention. I think that is how a real man should be. Just say what you have to say in response to what there are saying about you, and keep making those power moves...while your enemies waste energy on hating you.
I still wish Young Jeezy all the best with his upcoming album...TM103 drops on dec 20.
