Childish Gambino Wins 4 Grammy Awards for His 'This is America' Song

Rapper, Childish Gambino was one of the big winners at the 61st annual Grammy Awards last night. His hit song, This is America won a total of four awards...Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance, and Best Music Video. Congratulations to him.

New Song: Break Your Heart Right Back (Ariana Grande feat. Childish Gambino)

Ariana Grande dropped her second album (My Everything- 22/08/14) today, and this is one of the tracks off the album. She loves to feature rappers, and this is one of such songs on the album with a rapper guest appearance. The song has a little sample from Biggie's Mo Money Mo Problems, and from the real original song where Biggie and Puff sampled the song from; Diana Ross's I'm Coming Out.

Jhene Aiko Gives Childish Gambino The Green Light

Childish Gambino and Jhene Aiko have been friends for a while now, and it seems she wants to be more than just friends with him. In her new Complex Magazine cover story, Jhene Aiko gave Childish Gambino the green light to take things to another level with their relationship.

Speaking of her friendship with Childish Gambino, she said...

“We have the same publisher. One of his best friends, Fam, went to school with my brother who passed away. We have the same sense of humor, very sarcastic and dry. It was automatically like, ‘I like you! We can be friends.’ He’s an actor. We’re both creative people. We are friends and we hang out. We’re just friends but I’m also single, so you never know what friendships can develop into. We like each other as people, so you know, who knows?” (Complex Magazine)

Hahaha! Dude better do something after this, or he will have Jhene's heart shattered. It's very clear she likes him very much, and wants to be more than just his friend. But it's funny she had to express her feelings via a medium like this, where the whole world gets to read it. lol! I'm sure she didn't know her words would come out like that.

Childish Gambino Says Everyone has Suicidal Thoughts

Actor turned rapper, Childish Gambino said in a recent interview with Complex Magazine that everyone has suicidal thoughts. Well, maybe, maybe not. But I do know that most creative people have suicidal thoughts; mostly because they do a fine dance on the thin line between sanity and insanity. I used to not want to talk about my suicidal thoughts in the past, till a female friend of mine I also saw as very strong told me about hers. Now I tell my friends about my suicidal thoughts all the time. I don't know why; maybe in-case i finally get to do it, people won't think it was actually a homicide. But deep down I know I wont ever get around to do it, cos I have so much I want to do in this world, and that fact will never allow me to go ahead and kill myself.

Last year, Childish Gambino put up notes on his Instagram, which detailed his suicidal thoughts, and when asked about it during his recent interview with Complex, he said...

“Everybody has the same fears. If my letters did anything, they proved that everyone kinda feels the same way. I’m not special. Those letters were not special. They were just louder because I have a platform. You have to be real with yourself. No one is doing that. People are too concerned with making everything look nice and calm and pretty…I’m still here. I obviously still like it here. Everybody feels that way. Everybody has suicidal thoughts. Everybody is on the verge of suicide every day. You could die at any moment! You could have a brain aneurysm.”

i agree with him that most people try to paint a picture like everything is all good, when they might be hurting inside. Especially most celebrities; they put on a show for the public. We are all fragile and emotional beings, no matter how much macho or in control we make the public believe we are.
