This Week's Top Selling Rap Albums on Billboard's 'Top 200 Albums Chart'

50 Cent may not have gotten another number One album with this new release, but Animal Ambition is this week's highest selling rap album on Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart; the album sold 46,728 copies after a full week in stores. Experts projected it would sell 30-35k first week, so these numbers are cool. Personally, I was expecting it to do between 60-80 first week. This is good, and the fact that he is actually an independent act now makes it just right. He no-longer has the big machine behind him, and I am sure he would do better numbers with Street King Immortal...which is dropping in the fourth quarter.
