Hotel Employee Made $250k From Sale of Solange and Jay Z Elevator Fight Video

Yea, The Standard Hotel security man that sold the elevator altercation video between Solange and Jay Z reportedly got paid $250k by TMZ. Hmm! That's a huge chunk of money. By the way, he has been fired, and legal actions is being taken by his former employers over his actions. I hope he wont lose all that money in legal fees. If I was him, I would stash the money with a family member till all this is over. I wouldn't even mind going to jail for 6 months, but none of that money would go into getting a lawyer.

Read more on this below.

“The Standard has identified the individual responsible for breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video released by TMZ. The Standard has already terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and criminal remedies. The Standard will next be turning over all available information to the criminal authorities.
Lawyer Marty Singer reportedly investigated the shopping of the tape. A source recently told UsWeekly that 'the video was recorded on a cell phone from the monitors in the back room.' Another source told The New York Post The New York Post that the tape was sold to TMZ for $250,000" (HipHopDX)
