Revolutionary Words From Tupac
Even though he has been dead for almost 18 years now, Tupac is still widely talked about in Hip Hop, and in the world at large. I still listen to his music till this day, and they give me the same feeling they did when I was hearing them for the first times years ago. He made timeless music; and the reason why he made timeless music was because he was legit with his lyrics, and poured his heart out on the mic. Tupac was the type to say the truth (or let his actions back the truth) even if it would further get him in trouble; and for that reason, he got into a lot of trouble while alive. In one of his court cases from back in the 90s, after it appeared that the Judge was treating him like another gangster on the streets, and not really giving he and his lawyer a chance to prove Pac's innocence, he rose up and said...
"You know, your honor, throughout this entire court case, you haven't looked me or my attorney in the eye once. It's obvious that you are not here in the search for justice, so therefore, there is no point in me asking for a lighter sentence. I don't care what you do cause you are not respecting us, this is not a court of law; as far as I'm concerned, no justice is being served here, and you still can't look me in the eye. So I say, do what you want to do, give me whatever time you want, cos I'm not in your hands, I'm in God's hands."
