Kendrick Lamar Speaks On His Favourite Albums Of 2012

In a recent interview with Google Play, the new rapper on top, Kendrick Lamar shared what and what albums where his favourite in 2012, and what made them so special.

"One of my favorite albums of 2012 will be Nas Life is Good. The reason why I chose this album was simply because Nas kept his longevity, kept his creativity, kept his storytelling at an all-time high," he said. "Given the fact that he's been in the game so many years, still being able to come fresh and come new to where it's among the elite artists in the game."

"Another one of my favorite albums of 2012 would have to be Frank Ocean's album, reason given is because you don't hear too many male vocalists or vocalists, period, giving storytelling inside of their music. I think it's pretty dope to bring that part of the game back. As far as singing and rhythm and blues, it's a great album, great concepts, a body of work. That's what it's about in the game. I can respect that."
