Did Queen Latifah Come Out of The Closet

A couple of weeks ago, the buzzing news was that Queen Latifah would be coming out of the closet as a Gay person. She had been set to perform at the 29th Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival, which was held on the 19th of last month. She performed at the festival, which had an audience of over 100,000 people, and made statements like- "I've been waiting to do this for a long time," and then added that she was proud to be among "her people." But she never said she was Gay.


When she said she had been waiting to do this for a long time, it might mean that she had been waiting for a long time to support the LGBT people, and not care what anyone said. And when she said "you are my people", it might just mean that she doesn't have a problem with them and that she is cool with them. Personally, until she says it with her mouth, i would still hold on to the fact that she is either a heterosexual, or a closet gay person. But she definitely didn't come out of any closet at that concert.
