B.O.B's Strange Clouds album is the highest selling rap album on the billboard chart this week...selling 76,000 in its first week in stores. Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album is at a total of 436,000 copies sold so far, after selling 21,000 copies this week.
Drake's Take Care album sold 12,000 copies this week, and is now at a total of 1,723,000. I see this album going double platinum by the third quarter of the year. Personally i think this album is the best rap album that dropped last year...or maybe tying it up with Lupe Fiasco's Lasers album.
Future's Pluto album sold 12,000 copies this week, and is now at a three week total of 70,000 copies sold. Careless World: Rise of The Last King from Tyga sold 7,200 copies this week, and is now at a total of 214,000 sold so far.
Young Jeezy's TM103 album held on longer on the chart than i expected. It is not Platinum yet or anything, but it has really been steady on the chart for a long time. The album sold 6,200 copies this week, and is now at a total of 580,000.
4,000 copies of Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne album was sold this week, and now at a total of 1,425,000. Trip Lee's The Good Life sold 3,000 copies this week, and now at a total of 29,000. OF Tape, Vol 2. from Odd Future sold 2,500 copies this week, and is now a total of 74,000.
