Meek Mill finally dropped a Drake diss song (Wanna Know), and not another Tweet. What do I have to say about it? I think it is kinda predicable...He is saying things people have been bashing Drake with for a while now; things we already know. And also, he tried to do too many things on the 4 minute long song; too many skits, too many breaks. Even with all that being said, it is still an okay diss track; he did a lot of exposing of Drake, but just didn't package the diss well.

Funny Meek Mill vs. Drake Memes

If you don't know that Drake and Meek Mill are currently beefing, you probably have been living under a rock. Okay, just in case you don't know. this is a recap- Meek went on a Twitter rant last week, letting the whole world know that Drake doesn't write his own raps. A couple of days later, Drake hit him back with a diss track, Charged Up. Some rap music fans said it was just aii, and Meek Mill called it baby lotion soft, So, Drake went back to the studio, and dropped another diss track, Back to Back Freestyle, which has had the whole Hip Hop world in a frenzy since it dropped yesterday morning. But still, no response from Meek...I guess he is being meek right now.

Official First Week Sales of Future's "Dirty Sprite 2" Album

Future dropped his third album last week, and after a full week in stores, the album, Dirty Sprite 2 (DS2) sold 146,960 copies in its first week out. This is definitely a successful opening week for Future; I never thought he would sell this much. His last album, Honest (2014) sold 53,000 copies in its first week. His first album, Pluto (2012) sold 41,000 copies first week. So, you see this is a huge leap for him. Congrats to Future and his camp.

R.I.P Bobbi Kristina (Daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston)

TV Personality, and daughter of the union between Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina passed away yesterday. She was just 22 years old. What a sad news to wake up to.

"Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, the only daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died Sunday, nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub of her home, her family said.

Brown has been unresponsive in hospitals and hospice care since she was found in her Roswell, Georgia home on Jan. 31. Her family said she suffered irreversible brain damage.

"She is finally at peace in the arms of God," her family told NBC News in a statement. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Bobbi Kristina was music royalty as the daughter of two superstars — and the granddaughter of another, Cissy Houston, the mother of Whitney, who died in February 2012.

This is how it is meant to be; a rapper disses you, you respond on wax (not on Twitter) within a week. In case you have been under a rock somewhere, let me feel you in. A couple of days ago, Meek Mill went on a Twitter rant, saying he shouldn't be compared to Drake cos Drake doesn't write his own raps. Although Drake doesn't directly speak on that issue on this track, I like how he gave Meek Mill some subliminal jabs...Like the fact that Jay Z is really the man behind all this, and he just sent his boy, Meek Mill to try and destroy Drake's legacy, cos Drake didn't go with Tidal, but went with Jimmy Iovine's/Dre's streaming service instead.

Piers Morgan Comes For Nicki Minaj in Defense of Taylor Swift

British Journalist and US Editor-at-large for Mail Online, Piers Morgan goes for Nicki Minaj's jugular in his new write up for Daily Mail. A few days ago, Nicki Minaj went on a Twitter rant, accusing MTV of not nominating her Anaconda video in the 'Video Of The Year' category because she didn't have a video with girls with slim bodies in it, or because she wasn't some type of artist. She was obviously referring to Taylor Swift, who was nominated in the 'Video of The Year' category for her Bad Blood video, which featured Kendrick Lamar. By the way, I have watched both videos, and I am sorry Nicki, your booty shaking video can't hold a candle to Swift's Bad Blood video.

Ghostface Threatens to Kill Action Bronson

Several days ago, Action Bronson was on an ESPN show. and one of the show anchors made the all too familiar comparison between Bronson and legendary Wu Tang Clan rapper, Ghostface Killa, and Bronson felt some type of way. I guess he was tired of hearing that comment all the time, and then he said "He's not rapping like this no more." The interviewer asked him if that was a shot at 'the ghost' and he said..."Nope. I'm just being honest."

Young Jeezy Has Words for his Critics and Fans

I can't believe it has been ten years since Young Jeezy's major label debut album, Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Stuff like this makes me know I ain't young no more, cos I remember when this album dropped, like it was yesterday. I was in my last year at the University back then. Anyway, enough about me. Jeezy's first album, TM101 is about two be a decade old, and in the 10 year celebration, Jeezy decided to pen this letter to his fans and critics. He put up this letter on his Instagram page some hours ago. By the way, his first album was released July 26th, 2005.

Are Birdman and Young Thug Trying to Kill Lil Wayne?

For months now, things between Lil Wayne and his former boss and father figure, Brian 'Birdman' Williams hasn't been so cool. Well, technically speaking, Birdman is still Wayne's boss, cos he hasn't let him out of his contract with Cash Money Records. But, that is not news right now; what is news right now is allegations made against Young Thug and Baby being behind the shooting of Lil Wayne's Tour bus back in April. The New Legends of Rap Are Humble

When I say the new legends of rap, I don't mean 'new' like the Bobby Shmurda's, and the Chief Keef's. I am talking of the Drake's, the Kendrick Lamar's, the J Cole's, the Big Sean's, the Wale's, the Big Krit's, and the A$AP Rocky's; these are the new legends of rap as far as I am concerned. And I think they are pretty humble. I was just watching an A$AP Rocky interview, and I was surprised how humble dude was...he doesn't even have a car. And to think of the fact that his parents named him Rakim cos when he was born in 1988, Rakim was one of the hottest rapers on the scene...this is just incredible; he was meant to be a rapper.
